Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Survey Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise land and construction surveys, collecting accurate field data, and producing comprehensive survey documentation. You will work collaboratively with project teams to ensure all surveying activities meet established standards and project requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to accuracy in all surveying operations.

Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying instruments including total stations, GPS receivers, theodolites, and laser levels

Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to produce accurate site maps and technical drawings

Prepare detailed survey reports and documentation in compliance with industry standards and local regulations

Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create and update survey plans and technical drawings

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to establish survey requirements and project specifications

Perform quality control checks on all survey data and measurements to ensure accuracy and completeness

Maintain organized records of survey data, field notes, and project documentation

Identify potential surveying challenges and develop efficient solutions to meet project timelines

Assist in the setup and calibration of surveying equipment

Communicate survey findings and recommendations to project stakeholders

Qualifications

Proven experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or related surveying disciplines

Proficiency with surveying instruments and equipment (total station, GPS, theodolite, laser levels)

Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret survey data accurately

Knowledge of surveying standards, protocols, and best practices

Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in field conditions and meet project deadlines

Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards and local surveying regulations (preferred)

Experience with GIS software (preferred)

Knowledge of drone/UAV surveying technology (preferred)

Project management experience (preferred)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
